Frequently Asked Questions

  • Telehealth is online therapy where we meet through a secure video platform instead of in a physical office. This allows you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own home or another space that feels right for you.

All you need is a computer or phone with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet, private place. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform called Sessions Health to protect your confidentiality.

  • I am licensed in Texas and provide telehealth services to clients located within the state. Reach out to learn more and see if telehealth is an appropriate fit for your needs.

  • I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be understood without having to explain or justify yourself. I focus on helping you build self-compassion, work through shame, and develop tools that support your daily life. My goal is for therapy to feel both validating and genuinely helpful, not just a space to vent.

  • Scheduling your first appointment is a meaningful step, and I’m glad you’re here. Before our session, please complete the online paperwork at least 24 hours in advance. You will receive an email with a link to join our telehealth session. At the time of your appointment, you can enter the virtual waiting room, and I will begin the session from there. I look forward to meeting you!

  • Session length and cost depend on the type of service provided. Individual therapy sessions are $150 for 45-50 minutes. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available. I accept all major credit cards.

  • I do not accept insurance, I am a private pay provider. This allows for more personalized care, greater flexibility, and increased privacy. This means your treatment is guided by your needs rather than insurance requirements, and your information is not shared with insurance companies.

I do not bill or communicate directly with insurance. However, upon request, I can provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Please note that submitting a Superbill typically requires a mental health diagnosis, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your out-of-network benefits.
